Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect from the consultation?
Our 15-minute free consultation is an opportunity for you to confidentially share your reasons for seeking therapy and learn more about how I can best support you. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about me and my process to determine if working with me is the right fit for you. Consultation is offered telephonically or virtually, based on your availability.
What are your fees for services?
For therapy, I charge $200 per 50 minute session.
For individual supervision, I charge $120 per 50 minute meeting.
Rates for group supervision and consultation will vary, please contact me directly for pricing options.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an-out-of-network provider. While I do not accept insurance, I am happy to provide a “super bill” for you to be reimbursed by your insurance agency for out-of-network providers. Please contact your insurance provider to make sure they accept out-of-network coverage.
What if I am unable to afford your rate?
While therapy is a time and financial investment, it is one that can have long-term benefits. Therapy has been shown to improve overall quality of life, interpersonal connections, and decrease risk factors for medical issues.
I believe therapy should be accessible. I therefore offer sliding scale payment on a case-by-case basis. If you feel this may be something you qualify for, please contact me.
Do you provide a Good Faith Estimate?
In New York, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” as a rough estimate how much your mental health care will cost. You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or any time during our therapeutic relationship. For more questions or more information regarding your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
